PVS-14 Gen 3 Night Vision Monocular Green Phosphor M703e NVSP. PVS-14 Night Vision Surveillance Pocketscope By Aurora Tactical, Tube And Housing Allow For Gain Control. Has An M703e Autogated Tube With No Spec Sheet. From What I Gather Its A Carson Mil-spec Housing I Could Be Wrong. Tube Is An Odd One It Is Much More Of A True Green Rather Than The Yellowish Green Of The Omni Tubes. It Preforms About On Par With My PVS-7's Omni 7 Tube, Notably Preforms Maybe 15% Worse In Very Low Light Conditions. It Has A Light Streaking Effect And A Fisheye Effect I'm Not Sure If That's To Do With The Housing, Glass, Tube Or If Some Of Those Are Just Intrinsic To Monoculars Or Pvs-14s As I'm Mostly Familiar With My PVS-7 With Its Own Behaviors And Quirks. No Blems Under Normal Conditions But When Exposed To A Relative High Light Environment It Displays Specs That Look Like A Blem Would Yet After Removed From Light Source These Artifacts Disappear. During The Vast Majority Of Proper Usage They Will Not Appear And The Tube Looks Very Clean. The IR Illuminator Is Slightly Off Center I Have Not Personally Taken It Apart To Fix That.
