NOPTIC Forward Looking
InfraRed (FLIR ) NV3 PSV-3000 Vehicle-Mounted
Night Vision Camera with LED Spotlight
Whether you are a police officer, a security agent, an investigator,
own a large ranch, or just want to see in the dark from your vehicle, the NOPTIC PSV-3000
Vehicle-Mounted
Night Vision Camera is for you. The NOPTIC enables police and others to conduct
stealth surveillance at night. Law enforcement officers can turn off their
spotlight and use the NOPTIC thermal camera to locate suspects without revealing
their position. Viewing the live camera feed on a laptop inside the vehicle is
easy. The NOPTIC thermal camera is easy to install and set up, and the software
is free from NOPTIC. Seamless Integration
Hand-held thermal imaging devices can spend 99% of their time
in the trunk. NOPTIC is always on and ready to help you locate suspects. While
on patrol, officers can scan large areas in complete darkness, all from the
relative safety of their patrol vehicle. The camera is designed to work with
Windows-based laptop. NOPTIC includes the ability for anyone with this system
to record video on your laptop. Built for Tough Use
NOPTIC operates in complete darkness and at temperature
extremes of -40°F to 176°F. It also has a built-in lens heater that
activates automatically at temperatures below 40°F to keep the lens clear of
frost and ice. The system has been tested heavily to ensure it is able to
perform under tough use in the field. Quick Pan and Tilt
NOPTIC the one and only Spotlight Mount that provides quick
pan and tilt capabilities required for successful surveillance. Infrared Vision
The NOPTIC infrared detecting system distinguishes between
very small differences in thermal (infrared) radiation, converts them to
electrical signals, amplifies those differences, and reproduces them
correspondingly in the visible light (video) range. Powerful advantages are
achieved in being able to turn a pitch-black night into a black-and-white TV
image of the scene. Further applications will develop as your infrared
knowledge and experience grows. You will soon recognize heat clues beyond the
naked eye in both day and night conditions.
NOPTIC® mounts above the Unity Spotlight and can be
pointed from inside the vehicle. The image is displayed on the laptop. A
thermal image is based on an object's heat signature. It requires no ambient
light and, therefore can see in total darkness. NOPTIC Advantages ·

A new NOPTIC NV3
PSV-3000
Vehicle-Mounted Night Vision Camera is $4,000.00 if
you can find one. This unit is selling for less than ½ that price and it will
do the very same things.
The operation of the NOPTIC Spotlight System is
straightforward and intuitive. The camera is mounted on the vehicle's A-pillar
spotlight to provide essential panning ability. Primary benefits of the NOPTIC
camera when compared to other thermal imagers:
1. The ability to monitor
numerous square miles of territory per hour from the comfort, security and
tactical position of the patrol vehicle with both hands on the wheel.
2. Provides night time
surveillance with "panning and tilting" capabilities that
significantly enhances anyone’s ability to conduct stealth surveillance from
stationary positions (also in very cold or inclement weather conditions). The
NOPTIC camera is unique to the market in that it is externally mounted on the
vehicle spotlight, and hand controlled from inside the vehicle. The design of
the device allows it to be quickly and quietly panned across a given scene
without moving the vehicle or exposing the officer to rain, snow, frigid
temperatures, etc. The spotlight can be oriented quickly and easily in the
preferred direction by the officer. No slow-moving motors are used to position
the camera.
3. Enabling officers to timely
and tactically use the vehicle spotlight. The device is always 100% aligned
with the vehicle spotlight. Traditional nighttime surveillance with the
spotlight has required an officer to turn on the vehicle spotlight while
patrolling parks, construction sites or when investigating disturbances. This
method, unfortunately "gives away" the officer's position. Those
wishing to elude detection are given an opportunity to run or hide from the
approaching light. The NOPTIC camera on the other hand allows an officer to identify
a potential suspect in stealth. Since the device is aligned with the spotlight,
an officer has the ability to surprise a suspect with direct illumination from
the spotlight, increasing the potential for a successful apprehension.
4. Significantly improving the
range of visibility during nighttime driving. An officer can position the
device toward the direction of travel. Since the device has a range
approximately 3 to 5 times farther than that of high beam headlights, an
officer is made aware of potential dangers (deer, antelope, and obstructions)
much earlier. Having this advanced visual information, an officer can now
engage in a response with greater confidence and safety. NOTE 1 1.
This unit is gently used and was pulled from an operational
environment where it worked fully and flawlessly. It shows light signs of
normal wear and tear. 2.
Due to the highly unscrupulous parts swappers on
Pricetronic, this item is being sold on an “as-is” basis. 3.
